Ironheart

Excelsior my fellow Marvelers! Did you notice a home decor in ironheart that says "Live, laugh, love"? Guess what - it appears in resident alien too! Spiral!

Ironheart Review by Axat

With that, let’s begin my thought Vlog on marvel television’s latest release, and the last part of phase five of the MCU, IH. It also shares its half-initials with the name of my employer company, Instahyre, an AI powered SaaS business. The AI in IH is named NATALIE, with a huge acronym like JARVIS or EDITH - even dead i'm the hero, that iron man said in spider man. We geeks and nerds love our acronyms and backronyms, which is when you create an acronym for things after they’re named initially, pun intended. I think the show moves fast and furious, with family as the focus of the drama and tech as the focus of the fighting. Heists aren’t uncommon in the MCU. Obviously the Time Heist takes the top spot there. This show teases 3 heists in the first episode, with a “big job” after those 3. We see the first one get done in the first 3 episodes that have dropped, and will see the rest in the upcoming three episodes. There’s a lot of slang language and tech talk, most of which is easy to process for us kind of people who’ll watch imaginative shows that build on flawed characters going on redemption arcs. Speaking of arcs, RiRi Williams has made the ironheart suit without the Stark arc reactor sitting under its chest plate. I really like how her ironheart suit is wind and solar powered, But this is my zero spoiler show promo, so I’ll desist from leaking plot points that you can scroll through on Wikipedia and just honourably mention that doctor strange style magic plays a part in this series. Although… I must mention the pop culture references that pop up here and there in the script, like Spy Kids, Google, Al Capone, little mermaid and…wait for it…Star Wars! On that note, did you know that Andor is the original name of Numenor, the Blessed Island or Lonely Isle, beacon of hope in Tolkien’s Middle-Earth? And guess what the Elvish name for the island was after it had been drowned in the sea by Eru? Atalantë! Does that name ring a bell, pop culture fans?

And Tolkien created a Straight Road as an allegory for attaining heaven, like a bridge, which is the root of the name of the alien baby in Resident Alien - Bridget. Spiral 🌀!

Such spirals just make me smile! Also, Riri’s AI friend very sarcastically says “How convenient” about a Chekhov’s Gun. Vinyasa yoga is practised by the anti-hero-villain, Hood. Just goes to show that not every guy who does yoga is a hero.

Let me know what you thought of ironheart in the comments! Don’t be shy!

See you next week for more on ironheart, xlsr! PS: JioStar shows ads of a protein snack, so I think it’s targeted pretty well at MCU fans who aren’t couch potatoes and take care of their health as much as they can, including yours truly! I’m Axat ;) ciao

Quotes

I don't think of the past. The only thing that matters is the everlasting present. W. Somerset Maugham Ralph Waldo Emerson - "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."

A Cascade of Conversations.

It is a convenience to not have to type a datestamp, so I waste a line on it. The conversation I had with Mr. Malik was hurried; if its depth were to be mapped by sonar, it would be very irregular. The air time was pretty evenly divided, I think, although I know my egotistical thought process gives me way more credit than I'm due for. Still, no, wait, not still, I also committed a grave error of leaving out a person from my life history, despite saying in the same conversation, at a different point of time, words to the effect that a nurtured grievance tends to intensify negatively over time. I hope I have not slipped up too badly. Mahak pressed the red button when I called right now. With Mum, I knew in my heart she knew I was going to be serious about Mahak. Hence, at an opportunistic moment was exploited to full advantage, meaning no negativity whatsoever, and Mum accepted the news with good humor; I think her apprehensions are going to wait till December. Now, I have two things...

Money

By Pink Floyd Excellent song. The lyrics pertain to (most probably) the group's experience itself. As such, it is funny and humorous, poking fun at the system of media barons and "chart" economics.  I relate to it even more these days, when all I need is money. I am at peace, content, moksha-esque, even - but I do need money for subsistence. Which reminds me , how do I monetize my writings? Time to fire up the Vaio.
