May the Force be with you, and curiosity always guide you! Hi! I’m Axat, and after watching season 2 of Resident Alien, I decided to wax eloquent about the possibility of extra terrestrial intelligence. The SETI project was spearheaded by Frank Drake and heavily helped by the witty personality of Carl Sagan, a scientist par excellence. I totally appreciate what they envisioned, and I do think life surely already exists in the vast universe, or even our galaxy, but intelligent life with interstellar communication capabilities would be extremely rare. Calculations of the Drake Equation are also not very encouraging, but I’ll say this - I hope to be alive when we receive any communication from aliens. I highly doubt there are governments hiding aliens from the public, and more determined minds than mine have dug around conspiracy theories before debunking them properly.
Nevertheless, I like it when imaginations run wild and create shows and movies and comics and books and video games that depict the myriad ways aliens could affect our lives as earth-dwelling life forms. On that note, please do your bit to protect nature from our negative impact, because the earth remains our only home. That is why I support Elton - sorry, autocorrect creeps up suddenly sometimes - Elon Musk in his vision to make life multi-planetary. Why send chimps when humans are ultimate explorers? Case in point - the Axiom 4 mission just launched to the ISS with Shubhanshu Shukla, the second Indian to go to space, piloting the Crew Dragon atop a Falcon reusable booster.
What do you think about space exploration, human space flight, extraterrestrial intelligence etc?
Tell me in the comments! Peace!
May you live long and prosper 🖖

🌌 Do Aliens Exist? #AxatAsks
“May the Force be with you — and curiosity always guide you!”
Hi, I’m Axat. After binge-watching Resident Alien Season 2 (which is as hilarious as it is weird), I found myself spiraling into one of my favorite rabbit holes: the possibility of extraterrestrial intelligence.
The SETI project, led by the legendary Frank Drake and powered by the charm of Carl Sagan, has long fascinated me. Their vision? Profound. Their methods? Groundbreaking. The Drake Equation is cool, but let’s be honest — its numbers aren’t all that hopeful. Intelligent civilizations with the tech to chat across galaxies? Probably rare. Painfully rare.
But still... I hope I’m alive when that first message from the stars comes through.
Now — conspiracy theories? Nah. I don’t buy into the whole “governments hiding aliens” trope. Smarter people have already deep-dived and debunked those. But I do love how alien imagination shapes our fiction — in shows, books, games, and movies. Keep the UFOs flying in fiction, I say.
🌍 While we're looking outwards, let’s not forget our only home — Earth.
That’s why I support Elon Musk’s push to make life multi-planetary. Not because we’ve given up on Earth, but because humans are wired to explore. Chimps got us started — but humans? We’re the real explorers.
Case in point: Axiom Mission 4 just launched to the ISS, with India’s Shubhanshu Shukla piloting Crew Dragon aboard a reusable Falcon booster. 🚀
So, what do you think about:
🛰️ Space exploration
👽 Intelligent aliens
🚀 Human spaceflight?
