Parenting Advice [for first time parents]

For all you first time parents out there, here's my advice as a both-hands-on dad to my darling daughter Adwitya. Thanks for reading! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. First of all, remember the vowels: UAOEI. unique attention on each individual - especially on our lovely children. On your newborn, then your partner in parenting, your relatives, your friends, and finally, your Internet circles. https://youtube.com/shorts/Gpu0r7t_YQM?feature=share 2 Children are incapable of lying, so trust your infant to signal you only because it’s absolutely necessary. It will need a lot of trial and error, so be patient with a capital P. They may be hungry or sleepy or just uncomfortable, so don’t get frustrated. Sometimes they’ll cry no matter what you do, but DO NOT get frustrated. Breathe. Try to get the baby to breathe with you. Calm yourself while trying to calm baby. 3 most of us do not get enough time to exercise as much as we would like to. So now that you ha...

Ironheart Review - It's NOT The Next Iron Man

Nor is it supposed to be https://youtube.com/shorts/FzT_9uwkLFk Excelsior! I am Axat the Marveler, and this is my review of the last Phase 5 show, Iron Heart I want to say I like it, but it seems too rushed and the main character seems stubborn Iron Man was stubborn too, and there are parallels drawn between both characters Speaking of Iron Man kicking off the MCU, let me check 1 May 2008 17 years ago A lot of time and a lot of audience saturation has happened since RDJ Junior And now he will be back as Doctor von Doom in Avengers: Doomsday I like the pop culture references, and Xavier’s Save Earth hoodie But the plot moves somewhat haphazardly and conveniently Riri always seems on the verge of tears - that’s not good As for fighting magic with magic, “there’s a cost” And the cost is AI NATALIE, in this case The last episode is named the past is the past, and Sacha Baron Cohen finally appears - wow I’ve appreciated his acting ability ever since his Ali G in Da Hood days, all the w...

Adwitya’s Unique, Literally #Axat

Adwitya says to me "Up aana hai." I wish I could record each and every moment of her waking life so that she knows how she evolved from a little bag of flesh, bones, and blood to a mind capable of critical reasoning and acting in good faith towards achieving her intentions, which are nice, at least for the moment, and I hope they'll always be so. https://youtube.com/shorts/ddGqvJdC5l8 These are the moments I will recall when I’m sixty nine, like the beatles sang. Speaking of nostalgia, What a weird time we are living in, but I guess every generation feels the same when they see what the youngsters are up to in their lives. Our younger generation, conshumans, lives digitally. The probable outcome of the zillions of parts making up Adwitya’s entire brain chemistry is that digital media will make up about 99 percent of its experience, if not more. We are conshumans living 6hourisms, whether we like it or not, whether we make plans for 60 years, which is 6 decades, or 60...

why is resident alien such a good adaptation of a comic book?

precisely because of dialogue like "you will pay me for the whole hour" even when the client is under hypnosis. about alien abduction. and snapping fingers at the end of a countdown. so - tropes and new sarcastic stuff in the scripts. Watch on YouTube and is season 3 episode 3, i detect a shoutout to hit monkey of the marvel cinematic universe, with our eponymous alien dipping a teabag into a hot spring of white japanese monkeys, incurring their eternal wrath, like bryce fowler. but let's forget jason sudeikis and ted lasso and english football - glory glory manchester united, by the way - for the moment to focus on the tussle among human-kidnapping grey aliens and wannabe earth-saver harry vanderspiegle lol i always wanted to say that funny name out loud, the spiel part is absolutely spot on for an entity making up its life apart from the human elements making up the show based on the comic book, which is VASTLY different, just so you know, i want to act because i...

Ironheart

Excelsior my fellow Marvelers! Did you notice a home decor in ironheart that says "Live, laugh, love"? Guess what - it appears in resident alien too! Spiral! Ironheart Review by Axat With that, let’s begin my thought Vlog on marvel television’s latest release, and the last part of phase five of the MCU, IH. It also shares its half-initials with the name of my employer company, Instahyre, an AI powered SaaS business. The AI in IH is named NATALIE, with a huge acronym like JARVIS or EDITH - even dead i'm the hero, that iron man said in spider man. We geeks and nerds love our acronyms and backronyms, which is when you create an acronym for things after they’re named initially, pun intended. I think the show moves fast and furious, with family as the focus of the drama and tech as the focus of the fighting. Heists aren’t uncommon in the MCU. Obviously the Time Heist takes the top spot there. This show teases 3 heists in the first episode, with a “big job” after those 3. We ...

India lost to Hong Kong in Asian AFC Cup qualifiers

Hello my bitterly disappointed Indian football fanatics! It was a hard loss to take. Super-sub Stefan Pereira scored the last-second penalty awarded to Hong Kong. In fact, the penalty was won against India’s goalkeeper Vihal Kaith by Udebuluzor. He was subbed in the 75th minute. I wonder why Amrinder or Gurpreet didn’t play? The introduction of super ex-captain Sunil Chhetri at the one hour mark did nothing. Next, in October, we will play Singapore, both home and away, within just one week. After those 2 matches, it will be Bangladesh hosting us on 18th November - we drew. The last group stage match will be on the last day of March 2026, versus Hong Kong. So, 4 matches to go, we are at the bottom place in our group, with a mountain to climb. Watch my videos about Indian football, Manchester United, and lots of travel! Namaste!

Mountainhead Movie Review

Hello my fellow film aficionados! I am Axat, and I write my reviews while watching the movie or show I’m reviewing, with a final stream-of-thought rant at the end while the credits start rolling - or, in the case of most franchise movies and series, after all the mid/post credit scenes are over. Watch this review on my YouTube channel - https://youtube.com/shorts/hMWKpWZPpt0  In the case of Mountainhead, who better than Steve Carell to quote Star Wars by excluding his defeatist doctor from the tech-bros-hang get-together with the phrase “no droids in the cantina!” The tech billionaire bros have massively contrasting personalities, which is a must-have for such bottle-plot movies. Bottle episodes in TV are when one set is used for the whole episode, which is the case here too. By the end of the movie, which doesn’t have much of a plot except petty jealousy and selfishness and the tyranny of evil men who control the technology which drives much of our digital world, I was...
